I manage SAP's Academic Research Center (N.America). I recently completed a PhD program at UBC, focusing on HCI research.

Research

My research interests are in:

mobile device user interface design and evaluation,
universal usability, and
assistive computer technology.

I'm currently most active in the two projects to the right:

Doctoral research on improving the learnability of mobile devices for older adults

Improving mobile device learnability for older adults

Research on supporting adults with low literacy skills

Equipping adults who have low literacy skills
